Performing Arts Summer Camp at Brüka Theatre July 2012
Get ready for a truly inspiring dramatic experience in which young artists of a variety of talent levels are nurtured in a positive and creative theatre experience. Students are led by working theatre professionals in the creation of public performances of their own adaptations of a site specific performance of Alice In Wonderland. Classes are designed to develop imagination, concentration, of his/her body and voice, adaptation technique, character, theatrical design and appreciation of the theatrical artistic journey.
Ages 8 – 16
4 Internships Available for ages 16 – 20*
*Theatrical or Leadership experience necessary.
Participants will learn acting tools, scene work, script creation, improv and dance while exploring and adapting Alice in Wonderland for site specific public performance in July of 2012. Instructors include Mary Bennett, Sandra Neace and Alex Biber with Technical advisement by David Simpson and Lewis Zaumeyer.
$300 for two weeks. Sign up by July 5, 2012

Scholarships available: Participant should write a 500 word essay that includes fiscal limitations. 4 available.
Camp Schedule:
Doors open at 9:30
10 am to 4 pm weekdays
Performance on the final Saturday from 11 - 2
