Reno, NV.  Sandra Brunell Neace directs How I Learned To Drive written by Paula Vogel who won the Pulitzer Prize for this play. This wildly funny, surprising and devastating tale of survival is seen through the lens of a troubling relationship between a young girl and an older man. How I Learned to Drive is noteworthy for the many awards that it has won, including the 1998 Pulitzer Prize for drama. The play enjoyed an off-Broadway revival this year in New York. Neace adapted The Medea Project for the Brüka stage last season.  Strong language.  Suggested for mature audiences only.  (Ages 18 and over).

How I Learned To Drive opens Friday, June 8, 2012 followed by a post show opening night champagne reception. How I Learned To Drive plays for 10 total performances: June 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 20*, 21, 22, 23 2012 @ 8 PM.   Sunday Matinee JUNE 10  @ 2  PM followed by a talk back with the company. (June 20 is a Wednesday night show) The doors for all shows open a half an hour before curtain time.

Reservations are available through our box office at (775) 323-3221 or on our website at www.bruka.org. Box-office hours are 1 - 5 pm Wednesday through Friday and 12 - 4 pm Saturday. Individual tickets are $18 for general $16 for students, seniors and military and all tickets are $20 at the door.
