Reno, NV. “Sometimes you have to take back the country” they sing in the musical Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, playing at Brüka in late May and June 2014. The show enjoyed a Broadway run in 2010 and The New York Times said “Bloody Bloody manages to be a goofy delight and a perversely affecting comment on the American temperament”. The show dives into the life of seventh president Andrew Jackson and takes you on a twisted ride through a populist history. Humor, politics and rock and roll reign in this fierce, Wild West musical.
