(Reno, NV) Brüka Theatre announces a play reading of the original work – Science & Intuition by Kristen Davis-Coelho, directed by Julie Robertson and read by actors at Brüka Theatre on Sunday, June 14, 2015 AT 2 PM.  Doors open at 1:30.  Tickets are just $5 each or free to our Patron Gold season ticket holders

ABOUT THE PLAY

Josh is a teenage prodigy who has developed a new quantum theory that could prove the existence of parallel universes.  When his research is stolen, he finds himself staying with a street-wise girl in an abandoned hotel, and becomes convinced that a mysterious connection between them is the key to his theory.  But her sociopathic, self-appointed guardian is determined to protect the girl at any cost.

ABOUT THE ORIGINAL WORKS SERIES

Plays featured in the series consist of original works from the Brüka ensemble, local and regional playwrights. The intent of the readings is to give authors a chance to hear their work read by actors in front of an audience.  Brüka Theatre does not alter the plays in any way, in an attempt to give the author, audience, and artists a deeper understanding of the process of play development by work-shopping ideas and new works.   For a full schedule, please check our website at www.bruka.org

Audiences will enjoy a staged play reading and a discussion immediately following with the author to provide feedback and an open forum about the process. Tickets can be reserved in advance by calling the Brüka Box Office at (775) 323-3221 or purchased at the door on the day of the reading. We validate convenient parking at the Parking Gallery on First and Sierra Street.  Check us out at www.bruka.org.

Reservations are available through our box office at (775) 323-3221. Individual tickets are $5 for general admission, students, seniors and military. All tickets are $5 at the door.  Patron Gold’s are admitted as part of their season ticket.  Reservations are also available at the Melting Pot World Emporium @ their new location: 1047 S. Virginia Street, Reno. We validate convenient parking at the Parking Gallery on First and Sierra Streets.
