Reno, NV - Brüka Theatre’s 27th Season: The Bridge continues with Secret in the Wings, an adult fairy tale adventure that will take the audience on a fantasical and whimsical journey. Written by Mary Zimmerman and Directed by Producing Artistic Director Mary Bennett. We are currently in rehearsals and will re-open at Bruka Theatre with the play: "Secret In The Wings" at an appropriate time for the public to have a healthy and happy live theatre experience.
COLLECTIVE MESSAGE: As community theaters, we believe that the "community" comes first. And so, the teams at Brüka, Good Luck Macbeth, and Reno Little Theater have made the difficult decision to join together in collectively suspending all performances through March 31st (Though this time period may go longer depending on daily developments). This decision was not made lightly, or from any sense of panic, but out of our deep care for the well-being of our artists, audience members, and the wider community. More information is forthcoming from the individual organizations regarding what comes next for their productions & what you should do if you have tickets to one of those shows. If you are able, please consider donating your refund to the venue to help during this difficult time as ticket sales are the main source of income for non-profit community organizations like ours. Thank you!

THE STORY: Mary Zimmerman’s “The Secret in the Wings” adapts a group of darker, lesser-known fairy tales to create a theatrical work that holds beautiful, haunting and dream-like images.
