An Original Play Creation Workshop
RENO, NV. Get ready for a truly inspiring dramatic experience in which young artists of a variety of talent levels are nurtured in a positive and creative theatre experience. Students are led by working theatre professionals in classes designed to develop imagination, concentration, and confidence with movement and dance, voice, technique, character, theatrical design and appreciation of the theatrical artistic journey.
Participants will create an original play and be absorbed in acting tools, scene work, script creation, improvisation and dance/movement for two weeks while exploring and adapting an original story for public performances in July 2018. This is a special and unique opportunity to work with artists from Brüka Theatre to develop craft, focus and technique. Open to 24 participants. Participants are responsible for providing lunch. Lunch ordering options are available daily. $250 for two weeks. Sign up by June 1, 2018. ($300 after June 1, 2018.)

Write a 500-word essay including and desire to participate in the Performing Arts Camp, prior experience and limitations.
